Virtual band, PLSR presents their fourth single, “Heat,” off of their upcoming EP, Pleaser. The song integrates synthetic elements performed by Brandon Mordecai with Andrew Royal’s wonderfully mangled guitars to create a bubbly, lo-fi bed for the vocals of powerhouse, Joel Robert Kaiser. The lyrics explore the sudden onset of claustrophobia in a close relationship.
Heat is being released in concurrence with a hand drawn, animated music video - the product of a year long collaboration between Paris based animator, Melanie Gohin, and the members of the band. The music video is a part of the band’s growing sci-fi narrative being written in excerpts by producer and guitarist, Andrew Royal. It was awarded Finalist in the New York International Film Festival and winner of Best Music Video in the Cannes World Film Festival. Heat will be available on all streaming services June 25th.
